"message": "mfd: intel_soc_pmic: Differentiate between Bay and Cherry Trail CRC variants\n\nBoth Bay and Cherry Trail devices may be used together with a Crystal Cove\nPMIC. Each platform has its own variant of the PMIC, which both use the\nsame ACPI HID, but they are not 100% compatible.\n\nThis commits makes the intel_soc_pmic_core code check the _HRV of the\nACPI-firmware-node and selects intel_soc_pmic_config_byt_crc resp.\nintel_soc_pmic_config_cht_crc based on this.\n\nThis fixes the Bay Trail specific ACPI OpRegion code causing problems\non Cherry Trail devices. Specifically this was causing the external\nmicrosd slot on a Dell Venue 8 5855 (Cherry Trail version) to not work\nand the eMMC to become unreliable and throw lots of errors.\n\nFixes: 5165238460 (\"mfd: intel_soc_pmic: Core driver\")\nReported-and-tested-by: russianneuromancer \u003crussianneuromancer@ya.ru\u003e\nSigned-off-by: Hans de Goede \u003chdegoede@redhat.com\u003e\nReviewed-by: Andy Shevchenko \u003candy.shevchenko@gmail.com\u003e\nSigned-off-by: Lee Jones \u003clee.jones@linaro.org\u003e\n",
