"message": "crypto: drbg - replace int2byte with cpu_to_be\n\nThe DRBG requires the conversion of an integer into a string\nrepresentation of that integer. The previous implementation converted\nthe given integer byte-wise. However, the kernel offers the cpu_to_be\nfunction which already re-arranges the memory representation of an\ninteger such that it applies when interpreting the same memory as\ncharacter string.\n\nThe change therefore uses an integer-cast / union of the target\ncharacter array together with the cpu_to_be function to convert an\ninteger into its string representation.\n\nTests show that the Hash and CTR DRBG implementations (the HMAC DRBG\ndoes not require such conversion) is about 10% faster (or requires less\ncomputing power, respectively).\n\nSigned-off-by: Stephan Mueller \u003csmueller@chronox.de\u003e\nSigned-off-by: Herbert Xu \u003cherbert@gondor.apana.org.au\u003e\n",
